As an integral part of our Mainland ship operations team, Superintendents play a key role in the supervision of our vessel stevedoring operations. The successful candidate will support the delivery of efficient cargo handling services primarily for the grain sector with the future potential of supporting the forestry, steel and general cargo sectors.  To be considered a candidate for this position, you will require some specialized skills as follows:

  • Effective leadership, motivational and interpersonal communications skills while operating in a challenging environment
  • Superior organizational and communications skills
  • Extensive knowledge of port operations and prior advanced marine experience
  • The ability to embrace change, innovation and technology
  • Effectively develop key relationships with a diverse work group

This position works a varied schedule servicing a 24/7 operation, however, advance notice of work schedules is provided with compensating time off as required.
