The Canadian Food Inspection Agency sets out policies to protect the health of food, animal and plant in Canada.  Particular issues of interest for COS are the plant protection policies established by CFIA, in particular the policy directives pertaining to Asian Gypsy Moths, wood packaging, international garbage and soil.  Canada Border Services Agencies assists in the enforcement of the admissability requirements on behalf of CFIA.
